Rinsing with warm sal****er is very helpfull.
There are a few brands of lozenges that are sugar free (Halls -red, and some Ricola).
Tylenol helps ease pain.
Tea: boil water with fresh lemon  and ginger is soothing too.

My personally favorite is to boil some water with fresh ginger (cut up into small pieces) with squeezed lemon....let it sit for about 15 - 20 minutes to let all the flavours mingle....very soothing on the throat.

I have reached my goal weight ..... and LOVE my RNY !!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I got a sore throat in the hospital (from the thing they put down my throat in surgery) and they gave me Bradasol.

But my own personal remedy is to take 1000mg vit c each day until gone, then 500 mg day regularly.. I buy the redoxin tablets at any pharmacy. You just drop in a small glass of water and the orange flavour is the best. Tastes just like orange pop.

Hope you feel better soon and get some extra rest.
