Morning all,

Unfortunately (fortunately? lol) I'm off to the hospital today - blood work came back and my hemoglobin is WAY low.  Sooooo... I need to go in for a "top up". Yay me. lol  Not too sure what I'll be eating, but I did make a sandwich and grabbed a Kashi bar and a shake and stuffed it in my purse. haha

B - huge Tim's coffee once I get there and start waiting
S - 1/2 Kashi bar
L - my snuck in ham/cheese sandwich
S - ?  Likely still be there, maybe they'll feed me!
D - also not sure!

I know I'll feel great once this is done - long day ahead!

Sorry to hear that Karen.  What causes low hemoglobin?  Hope your wait isnt too long and you feel better soon!!

Haven't been posting the last couple of days....it was kind of a "therapy thing" recommended by the SW as she felt I was OCDish about my "need to post here and log my food".  Long story...BUT just to be clear for the newbies especially (and vets too)....I HIGHLY recommend logging here and tracking your food.  It keeps you on track and helps you to see what you are putting in your mouth.  My situation is well, my situation....as they say....they do the surgery on your stomach but not yourhead.   So, for me, right now, I will be logging every couple days or so just to see how it affects me and my eating patterns.

On that note

B - thinking eggs

L - DS has a bday party so may have something there...fruit, veggies maybe even a piece of pizza

Su - chicken, veggies, salad

S - protein shake

Water and vits in.  Have a good one!

Mostly caused by very low iron, Marianne. VERY low. I had blood transfusions yesterday, feeling much more like myself today, thanks.

Slept in this morning due to large consumption of red wine last nght, and then my naked barista brought us coffee in bed, which led to an even longer time in bed.  Late start to my day so no breakie for me.

Brunch - 1 egg, 3 slices bacon

Snack - honey crisp apple, pumpkin pie spice latte

Dinner - leftover coq au riesling

Snack - cup of cinnamon tea and maybe another apple

Finally cleaned up my balcony today - it's huge, so that was a big task - tick.

Off for a long walk in a moment - it's sunny, albeit a tad cool.

B - 1 poached egg plus goat cheese on rye
S - large decaff cappucino
L - spinach and mushrooms with a fried egg
S - protein bar and coffee
D - homemade chili
1 litre water.

In a stall (been two weeks) weight-wise, but I'm not worried. I'm 7 months out, and not exercising as much as I should be.
Just booked my one-week Cuban vacation for January - WAHOO.

Don't be jealous Gaby.  We are empty nesters so no worries about getting out of bed.  LOL  I made coq au riesling yesterday and it's even better the next day.  If you want my life for a day, can it be today since I'm doing like 5 loads of laundry and have to clean the bathroom.  LOL
