So........I got the call.
Toronto Western finally did call today with an appointment to see the surgeon on November 18th at 10am - I'm thrilled to hear that but a little bummed that they didn't leave the name of the surgeon I was meeting with. (they left this on my voice mail)

When I got the call, I was given the name of who I was meeting with - but I was first scheduled to meet with a TEG sugeon and then a St. Mike's surgeon. If they don't know the name, I think that means it is likely one of the TWH surgeons as they rotate doing the surgeon appointments and you don't ALWAYS meet with who does your surgery in that case, though they try to keep it that way. Call them back tomorrow and ask if it's a TWH surgeon you'll be meeting with.

yes it is...you may meet with one surgeon but depending on your date of surgery have another working on you....you factor in the amount of optifast time and you ca gage when your surgery is going to be.

My appointment is at 9am - not 10 am! My husband took the message and I misunderstood when he told me but he did tell me they said to call and confirm my appointment on the voicemail so maybe I will find out if my appointment is with a specific surgeon when I call tomorrow.
