Morning all :)

Up early enjoying a latte and watching "cake walk", which in itself is quite ridiculous since I don't eat sugar. LOL  I love all those food competition shows! Doing some cooking today (egg bites, salisbury steak with mushroom/onion sauce inspired by a recipe on "Mennonite Girls can Cook" http://www.mennonitegirlscancook.ca/2010/11/salisbury-steak. html , but different), and other domestic goddess duties.

B - coffee latte with a shot of sf cinnamon syrup, protein shake
S - cup of tea, small slice of sf banana cake
L - leftover chili
S - likely nothing
D - Salisbury steak with mushroom/onion sauce, 1 T mashed potato, brussel sprouts
S - perhaps a beer if we go out to the pub for an hour this evening

Have a wonderful Sunday :)

EDIT: Since Simona mentioned mushrooms, I'm changing dinner.  Will have the salisbury steak tomorrow.  Tonight :  crab and lobster stuffed portobello mushrooms with broccoli and cauliflower on the side!  Yahoo!

Migraine is finally gone! Grocery shopping today. I'm out of pomegranates They've always been my go-to fruit in the winter. Love them & cactus pears!

On the menu today:

B: Protein Shake
L: Stuffed Mushroom - stuffed w/crab & cream cheese.
D: Not sure. Maybe more mushrooms
S: Pomegranate & I have some spanakopita in the freezer. They're small, one bite triangles filled with feta & spinach. Yummy! 1 is usually enough for me.

Today is a cooking, baking day for me.  Trying to get some stuff ahead in the freezer for when I'm away so the poor boy doesn't go into dessert withdrawal.

B - scrambled eggs with a bit of feta in them

S - honey crisp apple

L - bowl of  Olive Garden inspired chicken gnocci soup, won't be many gnocci in my bowl

S - 2 babybel cheese and 1 ryvita bread

D - Czech pork roast and hungarian dumplings, will eat a bit of the dumpling to say I tried it and then fill my plate with some roasted carrots and onions, green salad on the side

Do you make your own gnocci when you make the soup Tracey?
