OT: The Duggars are doin' it again

Well, holy ****e.  Believe it or don't, Michelle Duggar is expecting again, due in April.  This will be their 20th - thaaat's right, TWENTIETH - child. For F*** sake, Jim Bob, keep it in your gdamn pants!  Speechless.

I couldnt believe it when I read it earlier today.  God love 'em but that last baby nearly killed her.  They must be out of their minds!

My brother has 5 kids - 2 with his first gf and 3 with his wife and he always said if he was on that show, it would be constant yelling and screaming.  He doesnt know how they can be so calm all the time!  LOL!

Good God!!!! I'm sorry but to me, that's insane. I have two (10 year old twins) and they keep us busy enough!!! I'm a little jealous of people who can live like that. I would be afraid of "losing" kids - ie/ going to the grocery store and accidentally leaving one or two behind. You'd have to do a frigging roll call all the time.

As I said in my previous post, the older female children are the ones who are actually "looking after" the younger ones.  Mr. and Mrs. Duggar are in more of a "supervisory role". lol

That last baby nearly died herself, born at 1 pound 6 oz, over 3 months in intensive care, etc.  Who knows what difficulties she may present with?

*sigh*

They can be so calm because the older female children are "assigned" a younger child or two or three, as their own.  Like chores.  Except umm.... children.

No kidding.  It gives me the willies on so many levels.  First of all, why just the older FEMALE children?  Oh yeah, that's right, looking after children and doing domestic chores are "women's work" in Dugganland. 

And when do the older girls get to live their older childhood, their teen years?  Oh yeah, that's right, never. 

I'm all for women having control over their bodies - I'm pro-choice and to me pro-choice also means that women should be able to choose to HAVE and keep their babies.  But there is a difference between making that choice for yourself (and looking after the babies that result, or arranging for other adults to care for them if you want to work outside the home), and making the choice to turn your older daughters into indentured nannies for you from their tender tween years.

Very good points, and I agree.  The thing with Mrs. Duggar is that she DOES want to keep having children, that much at least is clear to me.  They feel it's God's calling and that children are a gift.

just can't comprehend that. She needs to keep her legs crossed.
