We've decided we're going to name this group somehow. The title above is not really inspirational.

Today we had
Lorraine (4 weeks post-op)
Judy (6 days pre-op)
Balou (3 years post-op, maintaining)
Mollyand Bou [a.k.a. Sheree) (6 months post-op
Gabygee (8 months post-op

SweetPeaMe (the organizer of the group) didn't show.
One thing we all had in common - we are all women who have beaten very nasty odds to come out on top. We all had a history, and went into some of it in - very therapeutic.

Hi Gabygee, Sheri, Balou, and Judy,

I can't express enough how much I enjoyed our Etobicoke get together (new name needed for our club). Sheri, I had to google doppleganger to find out what it was. It is appropriate, little creepy, but appropriate. Perhaps we can brainstorm it next time?.

But seriously I just loved how everyone brought different but all valuable information to the table. Where did the time go to?. It was exhilarating and just left me with all those positive endorphans running around me. Therapeutic- absolutely! Inspirational -  definately!.

Thanks to everyone who came with open honest sharing. We are such a unique and strong group of women (guys are welcome too). We belong to that special club that outsiders (non WLS jouneypeople) would never understand.

I feel better having known all of you.  In my books you are all so

I'm sorry, the "group leader" didn't show?  SMDH.

I had a wonderful time last night.  What a great group of women!  Thanks to each of you for the encouragement and advise for my upcoming surgery (Nov 15) I am now not as terrified about what is to come.  Can't wait to see you all again!
