there are so many different reports and studies out there on how much protein the body of a WLS patient can absorb after surgery..my suregon recommended finding a protein that had between 24-30 g/per serving
so I am still using ISO PRO unflavoured protein from GNC and I doctor it up to suit my needs
unflavoured doens't mean no flavour and I found that in order to make it palatable I needed to add
2 ice cubes crushed
1/2 small banana
2 table spoons orange juice.
there are a lot of protein recipies on the internet..so try a few.
just remember after avout 30 grams your body is just sending the additional protein directly to the dump...meaning, don;t bother getting a really high protein supplement..and also it's a waste of money to use two scoops of any protein at once.
