Beneprotein
Those of you in Ottawa we were told that we could only get Beneprotein at the clinic.
Shoppers D (Kanata) is now stocking it. I think it was $19.95 which is cheaper than the clinic. I spoke to the pharmacy/owner and she says you can get it now. Ask at other ShoppersD as it is now on the can-order list.
The owner at kanata has ordered some extra in because I mentioned I'd tell the group.

Before the surgery I kept putting things off. I was never good enough. One of the benefits of WLS is that you start to believe in yourself. Check out my blog:

I was wondering if I could get it at the HRRH pharmacy, so thanks. They were really unorganized when I was there and I didn't get my prescriptions until Sunday when the pharmacy was closed. Had to go to the SDM at Jane/Finch mall, a place I have avoided most of my life for safety reasons (yikes!) They didn't have the Tylenol elixir and SDM's don't carry beneprotein. Will make a trip there in the next couple of days.

what does it give you for protein? I'd heard it was good and ordered it thru where i work (a pharmacy) got it and sent it back as i was disappointed in the amount of protein in it i thought and wasn't worth it for the money. Perhaps i just ordered the wrong item so would love to know what that one has in it.

Thanks for the info. Doesn't seem like much though. My protein powder made with milk is 44g of protein per serving. So if I have two 6 oz glasses a day I've already gotten in 88 grams. I guess it will be good to have around to add to things like soups for those times when my protein intake is low.
