Money and Food

Why is it that money and food always cause problems? 

Tomorrow I have two appointments at TWH...NP and SW.  Of course we live a couple hours away so we'll have to leave early in the morning.  My first appointment is at 8:30am...I know, CRAZY!  So, we are having our daughter spend the night at her Aunts....which is great...BUT...  We're trying to get her ready to go, us ready for the morning and dinner for everyone.  In my house this is where the problems start.  Food sucks!  The easy way out is to get take out but we have no money to do so and what about tomorrow?  Gas, parking, food?  More money...so here I am...venting! LOL  Sorry everyone but sometimes I wish there was no need to worry about money or food!

I know that can suck, but one thing after WLS I find I spend way less on food than I have ever done before.

I agree.  Both suck and we need both to survive!  Ugh!

In my house when things got tight and I had to feed a large group I relied on pasta.  You can buy 900g bag for under $2 and pasta sauce for the same.  Not the most nutritious but it filled the belly.

For tomorrow, can you brown bag it?  Sandwiches? 

Yes we're going to brown bag it tomorrow.  I know it will get easier, it just sucks! lol

Sorry you are so frustrated. Hope your day tomorrow gets better.

I hope you don't pay the high hospital parking fees... I always park at mcdonald's and walk over. It's only $10 for the whole day, til 6pm, instead of $20/$25
