OT: Keurig/Timothy's coffees & teas

So, I dragged my sorry butt over to Square One at lunch today and I thought I'd pick up some Timothy's Dark Roast, as I've been enjoying that one.  WELL.  Timothy's is having a sale on all of their K cups.  You get 3 boxes of 18 each for $39.95, no tax.   Heck, you can likely get it cheaper elsewhere, but I was so excited! LOL

I got Dark French Roast, Original Donut Blend, and English Breakfast Tea.  That oughta keep me jittery for a while.

Oh.  And I uh... got a REALLY cute sweater dress too. 

we were just comparing Tassimo to Keurig in the coffee room yesterday..I got a Tassimo as a gift for x-mas last year but now wi**** was  a Keurig...I am not in the habit of replacing something just because so I guess I am stuck with mine for a bit

Why are you wishing you had a Keurig Mary?  They seem pretty equally as good to me.

I'm also curious - my dad is planning on getting my mom a Tassimo for Christmas, what do you like better about the Keurig? 

What I think is neat about the Tassimo is that you can purchase cups that have added sugar, milk, etc.  I've not seen a Keurig product like that, but then again, I'm a Keurig newbie.

You know why I got a Keurig over a Tassimo?  Because I was at Homesense and they had the specific machine that I had been thinking of buying for my parents for Christmas and for myself *just because I deserve it* (lol) for about $40-50 cheaper than in a regular store. LOL

Keurig has some cups that have sugar in them too, just depends on the ones you buy.

I've seen hot chocolate for Keurig. Too bad it's not sugar free! 

I'm not a Keurig virgin so have seen many different cups over the years.  They have the hot chocolate ones as well as some latte ones and mochas.  I didn't like them.  Way too weak in some ways yet too friggin sweet in others. I guess it was the coffee or tea part was weak yet too much sugar.

Karen if you want to make your own lattes at home, you could tell Joe to buy you a Keurig milk steamer then get espresso kcups and voila.

Well it's almost Christmas and I am sure he will have no idea so you can hint.  I don't have one as I use my espresso machine to steam my milk, but Erica got one last year I believe.  Maybe find out if she likes hers.  I cringe every time I hear you say you are making a latte by microwaving the milk.  LOL

Timothy's make a really good espresso kcup.  It's called Extra Bold Rainforest Espresso.
