I have to tell someone because it's so hilarious.......
We had our sons parent teacher interview this morning and the teacher says.....
(Senior Kindgergarten)
Jacob is the most advanced academic child in my class room, he is reading at a grade 5 level and his mathematics ability is off the charts but he needs to work on not picking his nose!

I found it hilarious. We should have told her that he actually has a deviated septum which causes him to sometimes pull at his nostril to try and get air in there but we haven't really been seeing eye to eye with this teacher so we didnt' want to sound defensive! In the meantime we'll tell him to stop picking his nose and let his ENT take a look to see if there's been any change up in there! Haha
Reminds me of a funny story from when I used to work for the local school board. I counselled kids with some pretty severe mental health and behavioural issues and, when they got into trouble (often), they would come to visit me to problem solve. WELL... I had one young gentleman *****ally did have a nose-picking problem.
Kid - Mrs. M, *insert name* was teasing me in front of everyone, saying I was picking my nose!
Me - Hmmm. Well, *were* you picking your nose?
Kid - Yes!
Me - Problem solved. Stop picking your nose.
