What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)

Good for you - it'll be good training for when you do the CN Tower climb!

BTW, your menu looks really good today - you've really managed to cut the carbs and I know that's hard to do.  As for dinner, I'd make "pizza chips" out of the cheese, veggies, meats and then dip them in tomato sauce.

Sounds like a good idea.  Maybe I'll try that.

Homemade pizza!! MMMMMM

Why don't you make "brok's" style and have some too??? My bf LOVES it and requests me to make it often! A whole medium- ish size pizza and usually less then 20g carbs for the whole pizza

I've tried that, but found it a bit too salty or rich with all that cheese.  It was okay, but I think maybe I'll try this recupe (you got me inspired to look for new "crustless" recipes):

CRUSTLESS ZUCCHINI PIZZA

2 c. coarsely grated zucchini (about 2 med. zucchini)
Salt
1 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. basil
1/2 c. tomato sauce, no sugar added
1/2 oz. onion, chopped
2 med. eggs, beaten
1 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated, divided
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. canned mushrooms
1/4 tsp. oregano

Place zucchini in a colander; sprinkle lightly with salt and let stand 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse zucchini and dry thoroughly.

Combine zucchini with eggs, Parmesan, 1/2 ounce Mozzarella, flour, basil and pepper. Spread mixture into a 10 inch quiche dish or an 11 x 7 inch oblong or a 10 x 1 1/2 inch round baking pan, which has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 20 minutes or until firm. Place in broiler and broil 3 minutes; remove from broiler and return oven to 350 degrees. Top pizza evenly with tomato sauce, then remaining Mozzarella, mushrooms, onion and oregano. Bake about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Makes 2 servings.

Marny, I posted a recipe on the recipe forum for cauliflower pizza and I like it much better than Brok's.  Very easy to make and you can't taste the cauliflower at all.

Good morning, all!  Went to the gym today...put the lower body to the test.  OMG! My legs feel like jello and I only did 1/2 of my weight sets.  I was late getting there :(

We had breakfast catered today.  We all got a box of carb-tastic goodies!  I'll take mine home or drop them off with my SIL and she can take them for the kids.

On the menu today:

B: Protein Shake [my last one until the weekend]
S: Hard Boiled Egg [large size], 100g greek yogurt
L: Shrimp & Tomato Bisque [4oz]
S: 1/2 pomegranate
D: Shrimp & Tomato Bisque [4oz]

The soup is from Soup Nutsy and 8oz has 54g of protein!!!
