So...over the past few days Ive observed a few things about my eating....if I go to the gym in the morning, I'm ravenous all day and I dont make good food decisions if I dont have enough protein.  Yesterday was a carb heavy day - between that and DOMS, I woke up bloated....gained 2lbs as a result :(  I know it's only water but it still sucks!

So I'm going to the gym after work - then I only have dinner to eat and bed time.

I've planned my day better and managed 96g of protein without the protein shakes!  Im thrilled about that!  I really want to stop relying on them.  They dont keep me full and I crave toast after drinking one...odd, but Im glad I picked up on the connection.

On the menu today:

B: 1/2c Hi-Lo Cereal [dry] - 12g protein and 5g fiber per 1/2 c!
S: 100g Greek Yogurt & 1/2 pomegranate
L: Farmhouse Pie [3/4c] - this is good but too much of a puree consistency - I wont buy it again.
S: 1oz cheddar & 3 slices of spicy salami
B4 Gym: 3oz chicken breast
D: 3oz chicken breast

Seems like a lot of food, but it's still under 1000 cals and between lunch at 2pm and home time - 6pm I need to eat.

Coffee X2
B - PC Plain Greek Yogurt mixed with NSA Pudding
S - 2 Ryvata crackers with goat cheese
L- Chicken breast with veggies
D - Leftover pork tenderloin and veggies

Possibly a workout at the gym of some sort, if my eye clears up. It's red and gooey...mmmmm I'm currently half blind as I'm only wearing one contact lens. My glasses are at home

Thanks Karen (shhhh, boss is away!!)

Not pink eye.....contact lens reaction. I wore them overnight. Even though they are for overnight wear, I have too much protein in my eyes for me to do that more than once a week....and of course last night was the second time this week (not in a row, so I hoped I could get away with it, but alas).

At least my eyes have too much protein hahhahahaha.

The savory is definitely my downfall and of course wine goes oh so well with savory so then I'm double screwed!!
