Thank you so much for your thoughts!  The last I heard from Tom was that Aleck was still in surgery, doing well, and expected to be in recovery at 1 or 2 AM.  Thank you for your kindness.

Unfortunately there is still a risk that he could lose his leg entirely.  We're all saying a prayer for him.
