Hi Everyone

Just back last night from holidays too, and did a delayed "Monday Morning Weigh-In" this AM after 10 days away.  Down 3 lbs, and am now only 4 lbs away from my initial dream goal of 170 lbs.  Love, love, love my WLS!

My daughter goes back to England tomorrow, so for us it is rush around and get all the last minute stuff done today, and then dinner at Milestones and a movie tonight.

B - protein shake
L - greek yogurt parfait with strawberries and All Bran buds
D - curried scallops at Milestones with bok choy, mushrooms, and maybe just a little rice
S - (AM & Afternoon) 1/2 of a "Simply Bar" and decaf. coffees

Have a really good day all!

Claire isn't it a fantastic feeling losing weight over the holidays when topically, I for one would gain weight. I lost as well over the holidays and to be honest I didn't give food a second thought. For once I was in control not the other way around.
Way to go on your weight loss!!!

I have no leftovers either and I'm a tad bitter about it. lol  Oh well, I also had no prep or clean-up, so I guess all's fair.

Hey Karen, enjoy your time off.
I am in Kingston at my daughter's, today I had to get out to Starbucks before anyone woke up just to feel as though I have a little space. A two bedroom apartment with 2 dogs and 2 cats and 5 people gets a little claustophobic
Today I hope to go swimsuit shopping for my Nicaragua trip and sandles for my son if we can find any. We'll see if the holiday wear is starting to get out.

Foodwise is kind of crazy here because my daughter is like her grandmother and has a full fridge with nothing in it. I really hate relying on other people's kitchens.
I try hard to get the good stuff in or just don't bother. It all depresses me when I am in situations like this. That is why I am going to cook for my son and I in Nicaragua, I just can't imagine they could cook the way I need to eat. They fry a lot of food because they cook over fires or on hotplates. Fortunately there is an oven where I'll be and I can bake a broil things.

I guess I didn't say much about what I'm eating because I just don't know.

Gah!  I'd be taking a longer drive than to Starbucks for some space if it were me! lol

When are you and your son leaving for Nicaragua?

Good morning, everyone.  I hope you enjoyed your holidays.  I'm off this week too, which is really nice but still extremely busy with playdates, a sleepover at my house, and a friend coming in from Toronto for a few days.  I'm dreading going back to classes next week but keep telling myself I'm 2/3 of the way there.

We have a playdayte today.  They're coming over in an hour or so, I'm feeding everyone, then out for a movie.

B - Greek yogurt, strawberries
S - about to have a big, milky decaf tea
L  - pizza for the kids, probably turkey salad for me and my friend
S - bringing a Greek yogurt to the movie
D - probably leftover turkey again
S - 1/2 protein bar, maybe a piece of dark chocolate

Have a great day!
