Have you ever tried any other protein drinks? My friend had RNY in Edmonton but couldn't do Optifast so they put her on Glucerna. I'm sure if you stick to low fat, low carb all weekend then get in touch as soon as they are back, it would be better than barfing up every shake.

I am currently taking a look at the nutritional break down and Trish and I are going to try and make a matching menu.
Low carb, low fat, high protein seems the way to go.

Have you ever done Dr. Bernstein's diet? You could do something like that for the weekend. Lean chicken breasts, certain fish, everything basically steamed or baked without any oil, select veggies and fruit. I believe his diet is about 700 calories per day and Opitfast is 900 calories per day. Egg whites would be allowed as well for breakfast.

i first posted on here because i was allergic or so i thought to optifast,, but its not that i'm allergic but that i'm sensitive to alot of things,, so.. what i have done since yesterday is.. yesterday i did a day of boost diabitic, and today i've been doing optifast.. keeping it down,, thats how i'm going to do it until my surgery date, i could not get a hold of anyone either at TWH,, i just eat/drink broth and jello.. thats it.. no solid foods,
