Well yeah. I guess living with this lifestyle for nearly 6 years, doing all the trial and error, reading all the studies, following my surgeon's directions.... etc etc... means nothing.

Knowledge comes from many sources. Experience is one of them. I don't anyone on this board had reservations on having surgery with a surgeon who had not himself had WLS.
