Whey Protein Isolate @ Bulk Barn - Question

I actually bought maybe a cup or two and I have found it's nice to add to dips and spreads. It does not cook well (It curdles with heat), but I use it when I make guacamole (I'm almost done on puree) and you'd never know it was in there. I have also put it in my oatmeal after it's cooled a bit, but it can be a bit gritty....so I know some don't like it, but if you put it in spreads that you make in a food processor, you'll never even know it was there. It's not a huge amount of protein, but better than nothing I figure and like everyone says, you're water and protein intake is the most important aspect of healing in the first few months!

personally i would determine protein per gram of powder which ends up being.93 or protein per grm of powder, so if you use 30 gms of powder .... protein should be 27.9 gms. hope this helps

That's exactly how I did it but they want to know per tbsp as they are early post ops and can only consume a tbsp not a whole scoop at a time.  5 tbsp in a 28 gram serving so it's still 5.2 grams per tbsp.

HI Toni, I buy this but in unflavoured.  It mixes well in the blender with milk and a banana.  This way I get the extra protein and calcium from the skim as well as the protein from the powder.  I buy it from 'Healthy Planet'.
