Miscarriage???

Hi there,  this post is about a possible miscarriage and I was hoping to get some thoughts on this.
 
First off, I have been  "fixed" for 12 years.  I had my surgery October 2010, I am down 155 lbs as of Jan 2012.  I have been on Sick Leave for the past 6 weeks due to stress at work and starting up a new medication(anit-depressant). Getting straight to the point here, my family doctor thinks I may have had a miscarriage due to a discharge(white, thick skin like) I had with my period.  My period is actually a week early also.  Anyway, I have to go for a pelvis Ultrasound next week and meet up with him again.  So we dont really know for sure if thats what it was or not as of right now.  

Question; Can I actually get preggers even though my tubes have been done so long ago?  Or is this possibly something else?

 Hi, I'm no expert, but it would depend on wether you tubes were tied/clamped or removed.  If they were tied, I have heard of unexpected pregnancies after because the clamp falls off.

Maybe the ultrasound will show more.

I agree with Cat, depends on the technique used. Of course, it could possibly be something else, like an extra big piece of the uterine lining shedding.

 There is always a chance of pregnancy after a tubal ligation....its rare but it does happen.. your ultrasound will tell you whats what, try not to worry to much till you get the answers!
