how soon after the surgeons appointment do you have surgery? I know I will need opti for 3 weeks so i know at least 3 weeks. however we all know how twh is with booking so is it going to be months after eek?

Generally the surgery is about 4-8 ish weeks after you meet the surgeon

I was told you will get your surgery date at your Surgeon's appointment. They told me at my Nut class that even if it is a surgeon from TEG or St. Mikes they come with available dates to the appointments now.

I know we book it when we meet the surgeon. I am just wondering how far ahead are the surgery dates... Months weeks just so I know what kind of timeframe I have just because I have a home day care and need to tell parents and give them the option of back up while I am out

When I met surgeon at TWH at end of January I had my pic of days for Feb and March pretty well!! I don't think too long. Good luck
