Acts of Kindness.....
My friend just did the nicest thing and in all the emotions of post-surgery I just have to share. She just stopped by my house and dropped off 2 fully cooked meals for my family and a large soup from Panera Bread for me to feast on over the next couple of days.
It actually brought tears to my eyes!! I didnt talk about it on here but my grandfather passed away on Thursday and his visitation was today and the funeral tomorrow and we've all been really stressed. Such a blessing to have this happen today!

First of all, i'm very sorry for your loss. it is difficult enough to cope with a loss, but compounded with everyhting else.....Remember to take care of yourself. Second, what a blessing to have such an amazing friend. Obviuously you are a good friend as well, because how others treat you, is a reflection of how you treat others.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss..... And I second that your friends are an image of you. Treat others as you would like to be treated. You must be a very special person with very special friends..

I'm so sorry Melissa for the loss of your grandfather - I would feel very stressed and sad too - that's a hard situation to deal with. Just remember all the loving times you shared with him & hold him in a special place in your heart.
What a thoughtful thing for your friend to do! She definitely knows what being a friend is all about and I can see why this gesture meant so much to you. Maybe you'll be able to "pay it forward" down the road.

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
