or am i the only one going through a *****y stage, i am almost 4 weeks out and my husband tells me my mood has changed so much, that i am *****y more so than usual, i didn't realize it until he brought it to my attention tonight, he says i snap very easily at little things, and i'm very moody, i tried to explain to him that its probably because i have quit smoking, quit drinking and practically quit eating, Did or is anyone else experiencing this? i do know i don't have alot of patience anymore, hopefully this is only temporary, i'm usually the happy go lucky girl,

When we lose a lot of weight, we re-release hormones into our body that were stored in our fat cells...or some convoluted thing like that...and YES we will have major mood swings as a result. You are not alone... and God girl, you quit smoking, quit drinking and quit eating...LOL, you are allowed a little leeway in my book!

Don't worry...the mood swings are normal...I'm only 3.5weeks out, but I was warned about this early on... You'll be your happy go lucky self in no time...

So far I haven't had any mood swings, just my normal *****y, same as always lol.  BUT then again I have only quit eating..I did the smoking thing many many years ago and drinking was never an issue. I think quitting all 3 at once you are definitely entitled to some *****ing

As you lose the fat you are releasing a lot of Estrogen so yes mood swings, wacky periods and lots of other things are going on in your body.

I would take the time to reply to this post, but I'm too busy biting the head off anybody that comes too close!!!!

I am on such a hormonal rollercoaster, I spend half my time as snarky as a teenager and a *****y as mid-lifer in a full-on hot flash!

Oh hell yeah!  I was so volatile.  I think it was part hormone release, part "I'm giving up everything here people!", part dealing with healing and the new way of eating/drinking.  I felt so ungrateful for the new tool I was given.  That made me emotional.

It was a tough time but it passed..  I think it's part of the process and will get better.
