I found a protein bar recipe that I'd like to share:

1 c. oatmeal (I ground it to flour-like consistency in Magic Bullet)
4 scoops protein powder (I used 2 plain, 2 vanilla)
2 large Tbsp natural peanut butter
1/4 - 1/2 c. skim milk

place dry ingredients in bowl. Add peanut butter and just enough milk to get things blended up but not too sticky.  Pat into the bottom of a loaf pan.  Refrigerate for an hour and then cut into 6 bars.

Voila portable protein.

 My teenage sons love it.

Edit:  I really need to include credit info for this recipe.  It belongs to Leanbodylifestyle.com and I got this recipe from his video on Youtube.

I'm gonna copy this and save it for when I return home. It's good to have something that we actually know what the ingredients are.

it would probably depend on how much protein is in the powder you are using.. so.. protein x 4 scopps then divide by 6 bars

Here are numbers using Isoflex protein powder, 2 actual tbsp of peanut butter and only 1/4 cup skim milk.  Everyone's numbers will be slightly different depending on which powder they use and if they use heaping tbs*****t.

Tracy,
Thanks for the nutritional info.  They work out to be better carb/protein ratio than even the PureProtein bars I buy at Walmart.  Awesome.
