Delay!

Ahhhhh!  So I'm supposed to start my Opti-fast tomorrow and well...I have no Opti-fast!  Ugh!  I thought this would happen when she said, "well if it doesn't arrive by friday call us".  I think you forgot that it was friday when she said that.  Anyway, I did ask her if starting a day or two off would be a problem (if I didn't have the opti) and she said no.  So I'm doing my very best not to stress...I'm sure it will arrive tomorrow.  I hope.

Ahhhh! lol  Kidding, I'm actually way to calm I think!? haha, did anyone else feel a great sense of calm at this point?

YAY less Optifast to drink :)   Enjoy your final days before the liquid diet.  I believe you are calm due to the fact you have waited to get to this point.  You are at peace with your decision.

I was very calm and I felt strange about it.  But I think I had waited so long and was so prepared that i was very at peace with the surgery.

I'm very excited for you. Your OF will be there soon.

You'll be fine. There are lots of people who have their surgery moved up or back and don't get all the optifast in the correct amount of time. There are people who follow different diets because they can't tolerate optifast.

Just try to eat high protein, low fat, no carbs, until you get your optifast.
