Congrats~its never too late to do anything.  In regard to your "flat ass" perhaps now you have no extra padding you should consider a pair of those panties that give you junk in da trunk just for skating..

Have a blast and enjoy!!

I`ve thought about looking at those - but they bring back funny memories of my dad taking me roller skating and pinning foam pads into the butt and knees of my pants. HAHAHHAHA

How attractive.

sounds like 2 NSV's (pants being too big that is). That's great Karen!

Way to go Karen, both on the pants and the skating.  I had skated as a kid, and then not until about 14 years ago, and then was on and off until my kids started skating.  This year I was actually feeling good about it because of the WLS.  I'll give you the same advise as I give my kids. "It doesn't matter how many times you fall, it only matters how many times you get up."  That and wear splash pants, it will keep you dry when you do fall.  If you want padding, I've seen some people in hockey pants to help that area.

Have fun!

Karen, how exciting that you took the risk on getting on those skates again and enjoying it.... bravo!
I am not sure if I would be so adventurous... I would be more afraid of breaking my hip because God knows I would be on my A$$ more than my feet! LOL

Enjoy your day, Donna
