Happy Dance
I am probably the only person who does the happy dance when they get an appointment with a gynocologist. I have had 2 large fibroid tumours for over a year but due to my weight etc. they postponed taking care of them. The tumours are joined and about 4" x 9". Well they were this size 12 months ago, so who knows how big they are now. I got my appointment and the doctor said my uterus is about the size of someone who is 20 weeks pregnant. That day I got my surgery date for June. I am so excited.
Just a little update, I had my VSG at TWH November 3rd, 2011 by Dr. Penner. By my 3 month follow up appointment I had lost a bit more then my excess body fat. As of today I have lost 81 pounds and since January 23rd I have walked 265 miles (424 kilometres) outside in the snow, rain and sunshine. I now wear a size 12 skinny jean. Life is great!!!
When I had my VSG the surgeon took pictures and even video of my fibroids. I so wanted to ask if I could watch the video on youtube LOL
