Questions - DS or RNY

These days surgeons are making sleeves much smaller and the weight loss is very comparable with the RNY.  Please take your time and be absolutely certain what you feel would work best for you, then fight for it!  As I said before, Pat is fresh out of surgery but may be able to give you some tips when she feels up to it.

PS  The VSG is the first part of the DS.  They remove most of your stomach with the sleeve.  They do that as with with the DS, then they remove some intestine (and do some rerouting, but I don't know much about this part).  That's why with TBIYTC, she was told to start with the sleeve and add the malabsorption part later if necessary.
