are we allowed cough medicine on opti??

I have a cold blah.... bound to happen since I run a day care in my home and two young children of my own and lots of young nieces and nephews. Was wondering if we can take cough medicine while on opti??

cough medicine doesnt usually do anything effective anyway. Drink lots of water, take tylenol for headache or body pain.

ask your pharmacist for a sugar free cough syrup if you do decide that's the way to go.

my mom always said that colds last for 7 days if you treat them, or a week if you don't.

You could try sucking on a sugar free cough drop.  I find they relax the coughing and give a bit of relief or some Tylenol with codeine. Ask a pharmacist about that one.

The only effective cough syrup is the codeine cough syrup that you get directly from the pharmacist. The one I get from Shoppers is made with sucralose and you should be fine with that.
