Do you have any history of diabetes or hypoglycemia (low blood sugars)....whenever my blood sugar went low i would get dizzy....if you do not have a history i would monitor your symptoms with respect to what and when you have last eaten. Since post-op we tend to have limited carb intake it might be related to this. If it gets better after a small drink of milk or juice it might be due lo blood sugar. Since my surgery I have had low blood pressure too, For me, if i happen to squat or bend down then get up I get very light headed and dizzy. Almost keeled over after helping my students working on the floor. My BP was always normal before my VSG. I was told to drink lots. I googled it and there is not much you can do about it. Just be careful and know that it can happen when changing positions.

I'm experiencing both kinds of dizziness. The one where I feel like I might fall and the tunnel vision and it passes fairly quickly. Then there's the dreaded vertigo where the room feels like it's spinning, often comes with nausea and after the dizziness passes, I feel completely wiped out...sometimes for a day or two.
The first one has been resolved (for the most part) with dietary changes. More liquids, G2 and eating at intervals of a maximum of three hours.
The vertigo will either be an inner ear problem or a vascular blood flow problem. I'm awaiting testing with fingers crossed because it's debilitating when it hits.
Good luck getting it sorted.

I too get two kinds of vertigo.
One is related to blood pressure. I came off pb meds very early after surgery.
The other is caused by crystals in the inner ear and is called Benign Positional Vertigo. I have had it for years and it runs in my family. There is a simple manoevre to clear out your ears and your family doctor should be able to do it.
I saw an ear nose and throat specialist every year to clear my ears out but now do my own at home. There are several ways to do it online.
For some reason spring is the season for it to come on for me and my sisters and mother. It can be very debilitating for some but the manoevre clears it right up if done right.
