What a lovely idea! I don't know if I was ever added to a former list, but what a great way to make people feel like they are cared about on here.

One question Karen, what is an "angel"? I want one!

It does keep us together and like a family :)

An angel is someone who is in contact with your family/support person on the day of your surgery to find out how you're doing and then report back here on the board so we all know. Additionally, an angel can be somewhat of a "mentor", offering more personalized support, guidance, advice, or even just a shoulder to lean on. It doesn't have to be someone who lives close to you, it's simply someone you've connected with here on the forum.

Some people volunteer to be angels for those who either don't really know people or can't find an angel.
