Hilarious! I'll have a look at Shoppers after work today.

A nice preventative without creams and goop - cotton strips. I don't know if they will stay under the panni for you however. I use them especially in the summer.
Might not be a bad idea to do this if it's an open sore. That is how I got my start with the strips. Doctor recommended I keep the sore dressed until it healed enough and then we used a general anti fungal cream. Good luck, it can take a while to fully heal.

I use clotrimazole topical cream on those rashes. Its the same stuff that is in canestin cream for *there*.. except i'm cheap and i get it from the foot section at shoppers. Same exact stuff as with the *girl* stuff but cheaper.
It usually works within a day and frankly its quicker and cheaper than getting to the doc's, and getting a prescription and then paying the prescription deductible - at least for me.

Sometimes the best support you can get isn't all purple puddles and pink rainbows.
HI Karen,
To dry it up, I used to use powders (baby, cornstarch, gold bond) but when it's really bad, I go for the perscription cream. Once it clears up, one way to prevent it is to use antipersperant (sp?) in that area. I haven't used it for a while, (did for a bit for my larger bust that was having rashes) but others have with success as a preventative measure. I know it's weird, but if it helps....
Also, if you're worried of a rash after surgery, use a pad folded lengthwise, and put it in that area. The hospital had me do that after both my c-sections (theirs were bulky, so on #2 I brought my own.) It keeps the skin from touching each other, so it can dry and heal.
