One other really important note-Karen says what she sees--that is a trait that many people do not like because they come on here to get advice from unknown people so long as they tell them what they want to hear. If they really wanted advice they would ohhh I dunno ask a professional??
I have to say I don't really post often - I am only a couple months out-I am still learning and I have learned a ton from a select few on here and Karen you are one of them-When I think WTF is that person thinking you almost always chime in and say WTF are you thinking.
I have learned just because I can eat it doesn't make it right
I have learned surgery and all the pre op education was just the first tiny little step in my healthy life
I have learned food is my friend rather than my enemy-it can be good when I make the right choices.
but those choices are just that choices-I can choose to follow the plan and do what I am supposed to rather than cheat and do whatever I want in that moment in time.
Thank you to Karen and all the other vets who take time out of their own lives, for no money, for no accolades, to help others through WLS and success.
You are all appreciated-I appreciate you-Many on here appreciate you
To those who don't --thank goodness they blocked you cause I do not want your information shared with someone who doesn't deserve it!!
(I now return you to the regularity scheduled programing)

Just for clarity (as a newbie I want to make sure I have a handle on a few basics)
1) I CAN'T eat balloons and snort helium once I have surgery?
2) WIshing and wanting DOESN`T automatically become reality post op?!
3) Just because Karen has a flat ass doesn't mean she doesn't have a brain? Even though she appears to also be a blonde?
4) Putting my fingers in my ears and singing nananananana doesn't mean that the tree didn't fall?
In all seriousness, sometimes the best advice can hurt. Sometimes we all behave like babies and blame the messenger because we don't like the message. Sometimes social media can't soften what we are saying with the expression on our face or the tone of our voice and feelings get hurt.
Sometimes we have to swallow our pride, and apologize and let others forgive and forget. I like to think that no matter how small my stomach gets, I will always have a little room for some humble pie.
Whoever it was that blocked you Karen, is probably feeling a little baaaaad (aka sheepish) and I would like to inviite them to mend fences. Life is too short. "I was an idiot, I am sorry" might do the trick.
Take a chance.
