What are you eating/doing today? (Sunday edition)
Goooood morning :)
Well, I finished off the 5DPT on Friday with success - goodbye you little *****s of happiness (aka chips)! Had my first iron infusion on Friday morning and it was easy as pie. No reactions, no pain, no nuttin' - in and out in just over an hour. Phew! Busy yesterday with grocery shopping and errands and will be starting to cook shortly - making mega Mexican egg bites, mini meatloaves, and those "ice cream" drops that Heidi posted about early last week. Bought the "Oikos" brand of Greek yogurt to give it a try. Going to make a few different flavours in an ice cube tray and will let you know how they turn out!
OH! I also got the Hamilton Beach Ice Shaver at Home Hardware for $39! Haven't tried it yet, but that's definitely in the plan (once I go to the *coughLCBOcough* today) LOL!
B - can you believe this, I'm OUT OF COFFEE??!! Drinking tea with milk. Boo.
S - protein shake, 1 LC wedge with a multigrain cracker
L - 1 large Mexican egg bite (using my gigantic muffin tin), recipe on the Ontario recipe forum
S - I'm not sure but it's definitely going to involve my new ice shaver! lol
D - we're having a BBQ - steak, potato, grilled peppers, onions, mushrooms, brussel sprouts

I'm still sick. Girlie time & a killer cold now. Thank goodness the flu is over!
Since it's girlie time I've been having horrible cravings for sweets and yes, I gave in yesterday and had apple pie. So...I'm starting the 5DPT early. I'm adding an extra day on liquids. I figure between the chocolate shakes & pudding I'll satisfy my cravings without giving in to junk!
On the menu:
Protein Shakes for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Pudding for snacks.

Good Morning and hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend so far
and today makes 16 months post-op and I have been feeling FRIGGIN AMAZING!!!
I'm now 1 week away from going to Portugal for the first time and looking forward to NOT have to ask for that seatbelt extender and won't be pouring into other peoples seats 
B - 1/3 cup plain cheerios, 1/2 small banana, 1/2 cup raspberries, 4tbs 1% milk
S - Starbucks skinny latte
L - Garlic beef (3oz) with bok choy, carrots and some kind of fruit (1/3-1/2 cup fruit)
S - protein bar with 15 almonds
D - not sure yet - BBQ or out with hubby for indian food tonight?

B - Blue Menu Italian sausage (18 g protein, 170 cal!), one egg
S - milky decaf tea X 2
L - leftover ravioli w/ meat sauce; or turkey, pickles, cheese and crackers
S - turkey pepperette
D - hamburger (no bun), spinach salad w/ light feta, berries, almonds
S - SF fudgsicle
Lots of extra water and G2.

Well I just got back from a 5km run with the dog! Dam it's beautiful out!!! I'm home alone today( that never happens) so I'm going to enjoy my time in the garden. I've git one planter left to plant, then I'm going to do a little gardening...plant my beans and carrots( I forgot to buy them last week when we planted the veggie garden)
My afternoon will consist of reading a book by the pool and relaxing!! Happy happy

I probably have the worst meal plan of everyone today, well at least my breakfast was a horrible choice but WTF I'm on vacation.
B - 4 chips ahoy cookies and a banana along with lots of black perked coffee, nothing like perked coffee
L - hungarian salami and jalapeno harvarti on a croissant and a few tbsp of coleslaw
D - BBQ striploin steak, roasted brussel sprouts, sauteed mushrooms, garlic and onions and likely one small baby potato
No time for snacking as we are too busy fishing and soaking up some rays It's so hot here. I think we will have some tequila and lime crystal light tonight as I forgot the whole case of wine at home.

S - 1 sl dark German bread w liverwurst & pickle, large coffee.

S - fruit smoothie (homemade) w tofu, 2 graham crackers

Yep chips ahoy and enjoyed each one. I have a band so sugar is not a concern and my overall daily calories are not higher than usual so am not concerned. I am almost 7 years post op so have no problem with ****ty choices now and then. I am living my life and sometimes that means having cookies for breakfast. They probably have the same carbs and calories as those that eat cereal every day. Am definitely not concerned with my **** choice for one day.
Tracey is even more stringent with her menu that I am.... cookies cracked me UP! Not like her at all. She gets a pass in my books, seriously.
