Thanks for asking.  I saw the dentist, who is awesome by the way, and we made a plan. I'm to finish the antibiotics and have an appointment Monday morning at 8:20 to extract the tooth. Yay!

Ice packs, sal****er gargles and tiny amounts of oil of cloves on a piece of guaze or tissue up against the cavity

Oil of cloves - interesting.  You think I can get that at Bulk Barn?

Sounds like a pretty good action plan - too bad though that you have to wait til Monday to get rid of that blasted tooth! Will you be able to keep the pain under control for the weekend?  BTW, my husband always uses Oil of Cloves - he gets it at Shoppers.
