I like what the shapewear does for the bulgies and ripplies, but I hate the feel of something that close to my body, so I only wear it for "special occasions" and remove it asap. I find that my tops tend to cling to the shapewear and that bugs me, and my pants feel tight because the shapewear is so close-fitting, even though the pants could be loose on me. I like to feel my clothes on my body - that extra layer makes me feel kind of numb. But there's no denying that they make a difference!
Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
Im glad you liked yours and it worked for you. I bought the camisole a month or so ago as it said it was long enough that it wouldnt ride up. Big disappointment when i wore it the first time and i spent the entire day pulling it back down because it kept rolling up my torso. Not sure if the sizing was wrong or what but my experience was not good like yours :(. Guess you cant win em all. Anyone have any suggestions for a good body suit one that will suck in my loose abdominal skin and my upper tummy wiggle?
