I'm baaaaaaaack.........

Well.  That was fun. Sorta.  Mostly not. LOL

So here's the skinny, so we're all in the know.

I was on the table, all hooked up, even had my happy juice ****tail .... and the Dr. came in, took one look at my panni rash and cancelled.  I don't blame him ONE BIT.  I had been trying to get rid of this eff'in rash ALL week and it was f'ing stubborn.  I warned him before I went in, and he took it to heart.  Long(er) story short(er), surgergy cancelled until late October, saw the infectious disease guy, got a great script for something that is working.

Fast forward to today: (I took the rest of the week off on vacation days, fyi) - appointment with gyno to get a 3 month Lupron shot to keep me in medical menopause.  He asks me if I would like a referal to a plastic surgeon to do a pannulectomy/mons lift at the same time as my hysterectomy.  HELL YES!!! So, I have an appt with said PS on Tuesday to discuss. This has actually worked out for the better in many ways.

So.  Internet fixed at home, I'm off 'til Monday. And I'm baaaaaaaack.

Wow Karen - talk about turning lemons into lemonade....!! 

How great is this outcome......and to think you are having open hysterectomy....and then the panni - likely they can use the same suture line.....a week or so of discomfort....and voila....no fibroids and a flat tummy....

Thank you Barb!  It's great to BE back.  And yeah, I think this happened for a reason. I've been dealing with this freakin' panni issue since I lost my weight.  Buh-bye! Finally!
