What are you doing/eating - Thursday

Thanks, Ann! Trust me, I make plenty of wrong choices, but I try to get right back on track asap! My biggest mistake is with carbs - I just have the hardest time giving them up. I haven't had bread in a long time, although I do have some high-fibre, high protein, low-card pita bread in the freezer & I will have a half-slice once in a while. I also have crackers & melba toast with my peanut butter or tuna salad. Other than that, I think I'm doing pretty well & I'm making sure to get my protein in each day. I've gone down a couple of sizes, so that sure makes me feel great as well! I joined an Aquafitness class to help burn calories so I'm hoping that will also help with the weight loss. I am so happy that I had surgery & I'm totally content with my VSG!!!! I hope you're loving your VSG too!!!!!

Thanks, Karen - I just get SO frustrated - I know, it's all part of the game.....
I find it darn near impossible to cut out all carbs, but I thought that I'd be okay with some crackers or melba toast- I got a big surprise when I put them into my food tracker.
This is what myfitnesspal showed as the carbs in these foods:
1/2 pita - 10g 3 melba toast - 10g 1 c popcorn - 22g
a peach - 15 g 1 Tbsp SF jam - 13g 3/4 c Greek yogurt - 12g
Any advice for me? Should I just not get all worked up over it - I mean, I know that everything has some carbs in it. Should I just keep trying to find eat the foods that will give me the most protein, as long as the carbs/fat/sugar aren't ridiculously high?
By the way, I think "stay-cations" are fabulous! There's something so satisfying about being at home and knowing that you get to do anything or nothing - it's all up to you!!!!
Enjoy yourself all the way!!!!
