Hmmm.... I knew I put a comma in there. LOL  It is tuna with mayo and green onions and some salad dressing on the salad.

Punctuation.  I haz it.

LOL

I am getting prepared for my post-surgery foods and I don't seem to have a referrence as to how much or little I should be eating? I sort of recall seeing something about 1/4 protein first, then 1/4... and then ..

HELP.. please

Hey Mermaidz

I found in the beginning I would only be able to ingest 2 tablespoons. So I made them protein of one form or another.

Then I graduated to 1/4 cup and finally 1/2 cup measures of whatever food I was having.

Now I'm eyeballing it (16 months post-op) but I know once I start re-gaining, I'll have to do a 5-day Pouch Test to get myself and my pouch back into the habit of correct portion sizes.

Hi there,

Has your centre given you an eating plan yet?  It will depend on which centre you're going to as to what the meal plan will look like. I was on clear fluids in the hospital, full fluids for 2 weeks when I got home, then puree for 2 weeks, etc. and they gave amounts that I should be aiming to injest.

Good Morning Karen

At my orientation a million years ago, they gave me the info for how much, phase 1, phase 2 etc. I went digging through my original orientation package.

Is that what you mean? Otherwise, I have not recieved any new paperwork

Yes, that is what I was referring to.  It should outline what and how much, etc, for you.  Are you seeing the dietician again?
