Nathalie, I came on today feeling scared about getting the surgery done. I think it will be scheduled sometime in October, and when I saw your post it convinced me again that this is the right thing to do!!!

You look so great but more importantly...you must feel so good.

I am like you, the weight never stopped my self confidence, I have a great life, great husband, great kids and I think I look good (most days lol)...however, the weight catches up to you in other ways, diabetes around the corner for me and knee replacement surgery for sure if I don't deal with this. My head knows I need to do this but I'm scared nonetheless lol. Your post made me realize how life changing it can be!

Thank you...I'll be sure to think of you next time I second guess my decision.

It is scary...we are all scared of the unknown, and as cheesy as it sounds, knowing now, I would do it again in a heart beat. I feel amazing, I feel I can do anything. i.e. going to restaurants or backyard parties, those F#$%in' chairs were a nightmare to me before...lmao.....now I grab one with a smile...lol..silly little things like that happen EVERY single day non-stop...reminding me, hey woman, you are not the fatty that you were before. It's amazing....thank goodness OHIP decided to give us a second chance at life!
