Update

Hello all.

Happy Wednesday. So! Here is my update. I met with the social worker and dietician this morning. Everything went well, no follow ups.

Then, I went to see Dr Starr and how amazing is he!?!?!?! He completely eased all my concerns, and reassured me that I'm a great candidate for surgery.

So!

I got my date!!!

I meet with the nurse on December 7, I have prescreening on December 27 and am awaiting an appointment with the internist sometime between now and then.

And......................the best part-my surgery has been scheduled for............drumroll please.............

January 7!!!!!!!

2 weeks of optifast-which start on December 24

No Christmas dinner or New Years Eve toast for me-but that's ok-totally worth it.

I'm so excited now :)

Jan 7th is an excellent date.  ON Xmas just remember that you are giving yourself a big gift this year - a new you!

I had Dr. Starr too, and my surgery went fine, don't forget to take your prevacid afterwards.
