NSV after NSV after....

What a morning I had....FIRST of all I was sitting looking out the window and it was so pretty with the snow lightly falling I felt like going outside for a walk....WTF...me??? wanting to go OUTSIDE in the winter for a walk??? I'm an island girl and outdoors in winter does not computer for me...so waited for the feeling to go away as I knew it would BUT it kept getting stronger..so got up, called the husband (who almost fainted) and started to get dressed.

NSV #2: had on yoga pants and thought I would try pulling on my jeans over the pants to layer up and lo and behold the jeans just slid on over the pants with room to spare!

NSV#3: had on a t-shirt, put on a light long sleeved zip up cardigan and THEN put my winter coat over it...room to spare again! I was so thrilled.

NSV#4: went walking with husband and dog and even suggested going a little further than I was planning.

Feels so good and 2013 started off just right!! Thanks for listening and it's pretty great to have a place to share things like this with folks who 'get it'.

 

Congratulations, Deb!  You're so totally right - we get it.  I haven't had surgery yet but I remember those triumphant feelings when clothes would feel looser than when I first bought them.  I'm sure you will have many more nsv's over the months to come.  Happy New Year!

I remember that feeling a couple of weeks ago when I slipped my jeans on over my yoga pants to go skating and it felt great!  Gotta love the NSV's :)
