dogs, cats, even hamsters can take the fall for passed gas, just fart, sniff the air and walk away from said animal with a disgusted look on your face, saying EW, fluffy ( or insert pet name here)!  

Yeah the only time it fails is when you forget to make the bubble noise if it is a fish... or a pet rock.

Be forewarned, the smell may come, the gas buildup could bring the smell with it eventually, so be prepared LOL, it is natural what with the change to our plumbing and our food intake and vits LOL!!
