Lululemon and you can tell me....

I told you so!

So, i have been know to go on about lululemon and how they only carry small sizes....Today i was up at Vaughn Mills and went in to Lululemon and thought let me try a pair of pants on.  I was looking for capri leggings...  I picked up the biggest size 12 (currently wear a 14 in pants) and guess what they fit...In fact they were a little loose around the calfs (because i have skinny legs) and felt good around the waist.  I even probably could have gotten into a size 10, but didn't want to try them on, as i knew i was not going to buy them.

So, you can all tell me "i told you so"...but the funny thing is it really didn't have me jumping up for joy.  I think it was because when i looked at the size chart a size 12 is equal to a XL, and i usually wear a L in the yoga pants from Costco.  But they did feel nice, but couldn't afford them right now.  Maybe i will treat myself when i lose a few more pounds!!!

Their sizing is so weird!  Costco fits SMALL....go with that!  LOL

Thanks for posting this.  I wear a 14 in pants now too and have always wondered if I could fit their pants.  However, I like you, want to wait a bit before dropping huge coin on an outfit but BOY do I ever want !!

LOL... Lulu their sizes are SOOOOO small.  I was there last week - just to see - tried on a sweater and it 'just" did not close as yet. So I went back out and taught... well another couple of weeks or so.   That will be my treat then. 

I was able to find some great workout pants at a Fitness store (underArmour - and they fit great!). 

Sizing is very strange - and lulul carries to those really skinny (young) dudes.. 

I too was terrified of Lululemon but my Honey got me a gift card for Christmas.....so I finally braved the store....it was a crazy experience but finally got myself a running shirt with long sleeves and a high neck. SIZE 8!!!!

I didn't even try any pants on because I was over the moon with the sizing of the shirt and didn't want to jinx it!

Call me cheap but I'm not gonna buy something just because it's the latest fad

As far as sizes go? I can wear a 16 in some pants and a 20 in others, depending on the make of the pants.

But I now have a droopy belly button.. it'snot round any more :(

I plan on hittting up Lulu pretty soon!  Can not wait to be able to buy more than a water bottle and scarf! lol

Are their pants really that great? I mean I buy the yoga pants at Costco for like 18 bucks or something and I can't help but wonder are they that much nicer for the cost?

According to Barb (as I have no lululemon experience myself) they have exceptionally awesome yoga pants that lift your saggy butt and make it look like you actually have one. Which I could certainly use. LOL

That is SOOOO TRUE Karen!  I swear it!  After losing 219 pounds I have the saggiest arse in the planet and I got some nice looking buns in my Lululemon Groove Yoga pants!  I love the way they look on my legs!  I feel like I have the longest slimmest legs in the world when I wear mine!  I am just about to indulge in a second pair!!

In Lululemon I wear a size 6 slim yoga pant and a size 8/10 top.  I am 5'8 and 171 pounds
