Congratulations. I can hardly wait to start my journey to better health. My surgery is April 11th and I am counting the days. Your story gives me a real boost...maybe someday In the not so far future I will have a normal BMI. I don't think I have since I was a kid! Congratulations once again.

Congrats!! You are an inspiration to everyone!! Doesn't it feel weird and nice to be "normal"? LOL

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
