What exercise are you doing for the weekend SAT and SUN??
I've been a slug this week and it's time to change.
Tonight I'm going snowshoeing for a cancer fund raiser, tomorrow a nice walk in the bush on the shoes and I intend to start seriously walking every day and going to the gym after work every other day again starting Tuesday. Enough of this laziness, it's time for me to MOVE again.

I feel the same - was still recovering post-op but now "it is enough"
Back into the swing of things.
I am going to go to the club and train my pup today (lots of running for me - LOL - not just for the pup).
Tomorrow I am going for a nice long walk.
Next week I am planning to go to the gym! That would be a major change for me.... ![]()
I'm going to take the GO bus to a little town north of Toronto that has a seed distributor who doesn't carry anything by Monsanto, and carries tons of different heritage and organic seeds.
So, where does the exercise come in?
I could rent a car and go there, which would be quicker and possibly easier. But I find that when I take transit, it adds a lot more steps into my day. I have to walk to the subway station, then I walk around Union Station (and take some stairs) to get to the bus bay, walk from the bus stop in the little town to the shop, walk around the shop, walk back to the GO stop, etc. Whereas with a car, I just walk a block to where the car is, and drive practically door-to-door.
Other things I want to do this weekend: run some errands by walking, try to get at least 10,000 steps per day on my FitBit (yesterday was terrible - I got in the 3000's - but I was exhausted for some reason and slept much of the afternoon).
My exercise isn't all that exciting, but I just try to incorporate as much walking as I can into my everyday activities since I don't really like doing gym stuff.
Thanks for starting these threads! They're very encouraging. :)

Come to Toronto East End Coffee Nights! Click here for details.
I am going to hot yoga tonight (not great for steps, but a great activity to do on my rest day from running!). Tomorrow it's another running session (on the cusp of a week, so debating whether or not to do one more Week 4 run which I've done 3 times already, or move on to Week 5).
Have a great weekend!
