WLS not just changing the numbers....
I was getting ready to go out yesterday to COSTCO, I must have took an hour to get dressed.lol.... everything I put on was way to BIG. I feel like I am wearing a diaper with the baggy seat in my pants, the tops hang off my shoulders and droop under my arms... alas my woes... lol.
My room is a mess, and I mean a MESS, clothes in the dresser drawers are overflowing, the closets are askew, the chaise lounge is over loaded with pants and tops galore... NOTHING fits anymore.
Then laying in bed last night I began thinking about this... hmmm how different from the stress of nothing to wear cause I outgrew it....
So hubby and I started to talk about it.. and we realized the following to be so funny and TRUE...
B4 WLS After WLS
**** this top is way to tight, too small, I am too FAT!!.... WOOT !!! I out of shrunk another top...
Watch a movie at home, theater seats are uncomfortable.... YESSSS I fit in the seats, and love movie night out..
Park closer, its too much of a walk for me.... Lets walk its not that far, get in some good exercise..
Yes get me the DOUBLE CREAM donut, to hell with it... Not on my eating plan for the day, too many carbs...
I have nothing to wear, I am NOT going..... Lets go, I want to show off my new outfit... :)
Just a little dust, it can hold for a day or two.... Woot all this energy to clean my house, and burn cals...
Too cold out, my toes will freeze, no warm coat that fits... Ya its fun to play in the snow and make a snowman still..
Too hot, no shade, except for my shadow.... Great day for a walk to the park, or to go for a swim..
You drive, the steering wheel hits my belly... Wow, how comfortable this vehicle is for me to drive....
Go to sleep its been a long day ...... I get the TOP.!!!!! :) :) :)
Some may be looked at as NSVs...
I call them noted funnies of how our thinking changes after WLS. I am sure we all have some.
There are a ZILLION ways we think differently, each day, about ourselves, our actions and others, yet we do not always realize at the time.

This is a great list! Those NSV's are so true.
I have gotten rid of a TON of clothing - my closet is so bare now! I am looking forward to getting to my goal weight, and being able to stock it up again with clothes!
