What exercise are you doing today...
Spin at lunch, and hills tonight for running. Good times!
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
Yeah, just a little different lol

It's another kickboxing night for me tonight!
Power Barbell was good last night, but with different instructors for all three of the classes I've taken so far, I'm finding it challenging to figure out what weight I should be using. If the instructor's style is a little more challenging, I find I'm struggling with the higher weights, but if it's easier, then I don't have enough weight. I already set-up two different barbells -- one lighter and one heavier. But what worked in one class, doesn't necessarily work in another. Sigh. I think maybe the instructor issue will change after everyone is back from vacation -- hopefully, one instructor and getting their style will help. But then again, I'm back with a personal trainer next week, so the classes become less important.
Have a good one everyone!
I'm just doing my new usual - 13 laps - 300' out & 300' back in the lake - and maybe a few more since it's actually 82F in the shade here! I thought Summer should have begun a few months ago though?
Seriously, I do feel a little intimidated by all the more active posters here - running, jogging, spinning, Zumba-ing, climbing tons of stairs, seeing personal trainers, etc.. Your posts are inspiring though and I do try to go further and faster all the time, just that swimming doesn't seem like much compared to the rest of you guys! ;D But, it's what I absolutely love to do more than anything else - my goal is to become fit enough and trim enough to fit into a wetsuit, get an Rx dive mask, and learn to scuba dive - maybe next year! The thought is so exciting!
Jenn. :)
