Support Groups Ottawa

What every happened to the suport groups that were active in Ottawa.  I went by on the last Sunday of the month on Woodfield and didn'\t see a lot of cars.  Are the coffee groups still going?

 

I'm sure someone with more information will correct me but I *thought* there are coffee meetings at Starbucks the last Monday of the month as well as meetings at the Bronson Centre first Wednesday of the month. Shrinking Eve also has info on her signature about clothing swaps in the east end.

I hope others can respond with more accurate information.

 

I'm from out of town, a 90 min drive to Ottawa, but would gladly drive to Ottawa to chat with OH friends!! Hope someone can answer your question sassiest lassie!

Support groups are still going! I've only been to two events but, I believe, we meet once a month at Starbucks and once a month there is a meet at The Bronson Centre that is more formal. If you join the facebook group (it is closed/private, you'll have to message Shrinking Eve for an invite) there are some impromptu events as well.
Lots of really amazing people attend the events, I highly suggest them.

Yes those events happen every month and as someone else said there is often impromptu coffee get togethers during the month as well.

I have met some wonderful people and have made some great friends. The support is amazing!
