Dreams?
The last couple of weeks I have had a lot happen w my family and their health.
So its very much in the fore front of my mind.
What is my surgery gonna be like? Whats the recovery gonna be, pain? problems.
Every night I have dreams/ night mares about it. Urgh. Its draining me out of the little bit of energy I have.
I meet with Hagan on 16th, a week today and suppose to get my date. Maybe that is making this dream crap happen. BOOOOOoo
Anyone else get freaky dreams when they got closer?

well, you're playing the odds when it comes to results and complications. Most folks don't have any long term or serious complications from the RNY, most loose a great deal of their extra weight, most have the opportunity to ramp up the exercise part of their life so when they are able to eat more and almost everything they will be buring lots more calories than before. But not everyone.
My dreams were mostly on the likely senerio side of things for whatever reason, I imagine losing a good deal of my weight and exercising lots. But funny thing is I remember even after losing the weight I still looked obese in lala land. Can't say they were freaky but the dreams stopped after I began losing some serious weight. Good luck and enjoy the ride!
Don't worry, it's your mind working it's way though the stress. Your stress level is probably higher because of the family health issues, as well as the upcoming surgery. You are about to have a major life change, it's normal to be stressed about it.
If you can remember the dreams, you can write them down, or even just think about them and ask yourself where each part is coming from. I had some really weird dreams last week, and they were getting weirder as the days went by. I was working myself up over something that will probably be nothing. So my mind was pulling pieces from things I'd seen, places I'd been and putting them together. None of it really had anything to do with each other, but my mind put it together. I just woke up and shook my head. Usually they would come just before I had to get up so going back to sleep wasn't an issue (I didn't have time to). I laughed at them later in the day.

I had some dreams also, if I recall it was around the time of getting my surgery date also - and my surgeon is also Dr. Hagen. Do you suppose he is channelling both of us? Tee hee
The best part about being almost 50 ( will turn 50 this December) is that I don't remember what they were about, I think I posted here but can't be bothered to search.
Hahaha, thanks for that giggle. Was much needed.
if he is channeling me, he better be having his surgery plan down pat! Cause I will be channelling him if any oops happen!!
