stopping opti?/Sohi

I was just going thru some paperwork I had from online and iot says to stop taking the opti fast 2 days before surgery.  I don't remember being told that.  Am I supposed to stop?  I am with Dr Sohi and HRRH

Hi there. I was a patient of his a little over 2 weeks ago. I was instructed to stop opti at 12 midnight the night before surgery. My pre-op package also had this information in it. When in doubt. .call his office

Thanks, again lol   I have very bad vision actually cosidered blind so the paperwrk they gave doesn't help much   but so far ppl from hamilton have to stop 2 days before but ppl thru HRRH dnt :-)

I had my RNY this past June with Dr Sohi. I had to have my last opti into me by midnight the night before surgery. What would you be eating or taking for the 2 days aif you were to stop opti? Makes no sense. It must be an oversight, call the office

Clear fluids for 2 days before here at st joes Hamilton. Call your clonic team

yep....nothing to 'ea't for 2 days before. gosh i was hungry when i went in, but as soon as i woke up from surgery i wasn't.

in fact, i don't think i've felt really hungry since surgery.

I went thru TWH and had to have the last of mine in by midnight the night before surgery as well

Well I'm goin to HRRH NOW and I was told to stop at midnight
